At West Seattle Toastmasters Club 832:

We're now hosting hybrid meetings! Join us in person at Brookdale West Seattle or via Zoom.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Our meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and adjourn at 8 p.m. Brookdale's doors lock at 6:30. Please arrive early to find parking (on the street) and sign in at the front desk.

Our meetings always start and end on time.

Each meeting includes speeches prepared by inspiring speakers from our club.

Speakers receive feedback from an evaluator.

We practice impromptu speaking (Table Topics — a club favorite!).

Everyone is welcome to join "post-toasties" after the meeting (a social tradition to get to know one another).

Am I required to speak at a club meeting?
No. Speaking is not required when visiting a club. Guests are invited to introduce themselves, if they'd like, and they may only observe, if desired.

How long does a club meeting last?
Our club meetings are from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
If attending in person, allow time to find parking (on the street) and sign in at the front desk. Brookdale's doors lock at 6:30.

Do I need to bring anything to a club meeting?
No. You are not required to bring anything to a meeting.

Can anyone become a member?
As long as you are at least 18 years old, you can join Toastmasters.

What happens when I join the club after my visit?​
You'll be assigned a mentor to guide you through your club and Toastmasters experience.
